Devington Area Clean-Up Day 2010
Join Devington Communities Association (DCA) members on Saturday, April 17 for the annual neighborhood cleanup. We will meet at 9 am at the Cathedral of Praise at 42nd Street and Graham Ave, and provide coffee, pastries and cleaning supplies. After the clean-up, we'll meet back at the church for hot-dogs.
The DCA clean-up group will head east to clean Arlington Avenue between 38th and 46th Streets first. Then we'll clean back west to Audubon Road. If we have enough time and energy, we'll continue cleaning to and on Emerson Avenue. The Devington Community Development Corporation (DCDC) is organizing the clean-up of Devington Shopping Plaza.
Keep Indianapolis Beautiful (KIBI) is supplying us with gloves, bags, water, soda, and gift certificates to help with the food items.
