We are an umbrella group founded in the 70's representing neighborhood groups, Block Clubs, and residents who live in the Devington community from East 56th Street on North to East 34th Street on the South to North Shadeland Avenue on the East and Sherman Drive on the West. Within this area we serve several neighborhood groups including the Devon Neighborhood Association, SHANE, Forest Manor, and Millersville. We are proud of our association with Devington Forest Manor Ministerial Alliance, United Northeast CDC, Coalition of Northeast Neighborhoods (Weed & Seed), and Devington CDC.

Our goal is to establish a working relationship with local churches, businesses, neighborhood organizations, schools, concerned citizens and government to promote community revitalization, safety, and pride.

Our mission is to be an advocate for our area's education, security, and environment needs.

Devington community area has been a long-standing and established residential area. Devington encompasses a diverse population living in small houses and apartments as well as large homes. We have young single adults, young families, and senior citizens who have lived in this area for years. DCA's membership includes representatives from churches, neighborhood groups, businesses, schools and Crimewatch groups within our area.

We meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month (from September thru June) at St. Albans Episcopal Church (4601 Emerson Ave.) starting at 6:30 P.M.
